[Network] Fiber Cut in New York, May Affect Service

A fiber cut in New York affecting the Hibernia, Telia and Level3 lines may affect your service, especially if your service runs through North America.

The network is currently re-routed through the American West Coast, which may create packet loss and time-outs.
The field technician reports that the fiber provider has completed splicing three buffer tubes on both sides and beginning splicing on the fourth tube at this time. The fiber provider has advised they are not able to provide an estimated restoral time currently, but may as work progresses further. The Level 3 field technician remains on site to obtain updates and observe the progress of the repair efforts. We will keep you posted on any news on this matter. Thank you for your understanding.

UPDATE: Issue is fixed, cable has been repaired and services should be back online. The peering is being re-routed correctly.
